DEVON'S POV
I stared back at my reflection in the bathroom mirror, unable to recognize my reflection staring back at me. My eyes had sunken so deeply that there were dark bags underneath them, like I hadn't slept in days. Which was far from the truth; all I've been doing all week was sleeping. I hated every minute I was awake and looked forward to the moment I would be back in bed.
I had lost the only spark of life I had left, Rachel. Without her, I didn't know what else I was going to do. Nothing has been the same since she left last week; everything reminded me of her. Wherever I ran to run from the memories of her that plagued every corner of my mind, I was met with the ghost of her absence.
