Tasting the blood briefly, Edward would see Noctua, and the entire place would vanish before his eyes, returning him to the academy's library. In his hand, the book chose him, settling in the center of his palm and sinking into his skin as if it had been absorbed.
"My goodness, these people really don't know what personal space is, huh?..." Edward muttered, then, after reconsidering for a moment, continued, "Well, the kiss wasn't that bad, though."
"A kiss, huh? For someone who wasn't interested, seven is a pretty big number," Litty remarked, sitting on his head while making the number with her fingers.
"Hmm..." Edward smirked and said, "So, does that mean you included yourself in the count? You're dreaming a little too big, Litty."
