Turns Out It Was Just Your Birthday

Sarah's POV:

Anthony grabbed my nose, and I pushed his hands away. "Hey!" I scolded.

"Gather your energy; if you are hungry, then open the safe; let's leave," he said, and I frowned. I don't know the password.

I sat next to him and said, "What if I say I have forgotten the password?" I raised a brow, and he nodded.

"Then I will believe you because you are not the smart type. That's why I am giving you time to recall it."

"Tomorrow is the interview; shouldn't we go prepare for it?" I was expecting him to be moved because the interview was important, but he didn't flinch.

I stayed quiet and watched the view as well. I know I was starving, but I just had to hold it in.

After about three minutes of us watching the waterfall, he finally spoke out, "Why did you try to sell the house?" And yes, he asked a question I couldn't answer.

"Is it because your dad decided to give me a company's share and not to you?"
