A Man Is Looking For You

Elma's POV:

I parked my car at the mansion Jeremi was staying and dialed his contact. He walked towards me dressed in a tailored blue suit.

"Elma, I am glad you came," he smiled and swung a beautiful key with his finger.

"What's that?" I asked with my gaze stuck on the key, "A key."

"No, I mean, what's the key meant for?"

"It's the key to your freedom," he said in a teasing tone, and I frowned. I was already in a bad mood.

"Why do you look sad? Remember what I always say: Avoid frowning so you won't develop wrinkles."

"I am tired, Jer," I said with a weak tone.

"I am tired of my parents always thinking that they are right; they have no remorse for their upbringing and will never miss a chance to blame me for getting pregnant at sixteen."

"Hey, their words are meaningless. Forget about them," Jeremi said with a comforting tone before he hugged me.
