An Opportunist

Sarah's POV:

"What did you say?" I asked in a confused tone, We were okay this morning, so why will he fire me? And if he fired me, then why didn't he tell me at home and instead made me come to the office?

He walked to me with a smile plastered on his face. "You could always design; after all, you have a brand and a personal team from Paris who handles your name," he explained, and I shook my head in denial.

"You will always be a part of this company; we built it together, remember?"

"Then why chase me away?"

"I am giving you what you always wanted: freedom. You don't have to come to work every day as an employee; you could hang out with your friends. Just as I promised you, I will give you freedom."

He was doing everything to make Elma feel like nothing was holding her. "You are not caged; you can fly as much as you want. But please always return to me," he pleaded, pulling me in for a hug.
