Elma's POV:
I can't believe they are not understanding me; I really didn't want a baby.
"Can we have a word in private, please?" Anthony asked, and mother nodded before she walked out with Sarah.
"Anthony, please understand me; I don't want a baby."
He held my hand. "This is the moment you stop thinking just about yourself and become that person you have always wished to be. A selfless person."
By choosing not to have a baby, was I being selfish? Well, I was the only one not okay with the baby, but shouldn't I satisfy myself first?
"It will be bad having a baby out of wedlock," I muttered. "Then let's get married; the wedding preparations were never cancelled. I just asked your mom not to mention it while I try to convince you."
Huh? What?
"You didn't cancel the wedding? That means people are still to come to the wedding?"
He nodded, and I couldn't believe this: "Who said I changed my mind about not getting married?"
