THE FIRST DINNER

The painting in front of me had the most vibrant combination of colours. From afar, it looked like me. It was a painting of me glaring. Considering the number of times I've done that to him, I couldn't exactly blame him for drawing that. Though, I would have preferred he drew me smiling, the painting itself already had me smiling.

The question that echoed in my mind was; when did he paint this? We've known each other for seven days. Four of those days, we spent around each other. Three of those days, he was on a business trip. Unless, the business trip didn't last as long as I thought it did. He might have come hear to have some peace during those three days.
