THE IN-LAW CYCLE

The sound of my footsteps echoed in the hallway as I marched my way angrily to the elevator. I shut its doors immediately and it carried me to our bedroom. I shut the doors too. I needed to be by myself. It felt like since I came into this mansion, I have been hit by so many things without time to properly adjust or heal from any of them. If this was the life Rowan lived then, it was a miracle he had a little sanity left in him.

I had to ignore the noise of everything going on and focus on myself for a while but, it didn't work. I could literally see Rowan's face in my mind. Then, I remembered his last words to me and it pissed me off.

Who does he think he is?

He could have just apologized or explained why he had left me in the car that way but he didn't. Instead, he made it about himself again!

Arrrggghhhh!!!
