Returning With The Prize

As Dennis navigated the uneven terrain away from the rebel camp, the silence in the truck was thick with unspoken questions.

Enrique, visibly exhausted from the ordeal, yet palpably relieved, sat hunched, his eyes occasionally flicking to the passing landscape before settling into a faraway stare.

Enrique exhaled deeply, the weight of his past heavy on his shoulders.

"It wasn't my intention to betray anyone," he started, his voice a mixture of fatigue and firmness.
