The revelation of Shelter 335's destruction left Dennis reeling in shock, his mind grappling with the enormity of the disaster as he handed the injured man a bottle of water from their provisions. "Can you lead us to any other survivors?" Dennis asked, his voice tense with urgency.

Nodding weakly, the man pushed himself to his feet with Dennis's assistance and gestured for them to follow him deeper into the underbrush. Dennis quickly pulled a flashlight from his backpack.

In the dim light cast by Dennis's flashlight, the path through the dense underbrush seemed even more treacherous and unwelcoming.

Each step was a struggle against the thick, tangled vegetation, and the air was heavy with the scent of earth and decay. Dennis, Mia, and Marlene followed the injured man with growing apprehension, each aware of the gravity of the situation they were about to confront.
