Court

"It's from the court," Mr. Lagman remarked, his voice tinged with apprehension.

Claire, his loyal assistant, glanced up from her desk, concern evident in her eyes. "What does it say, sir?"

"We've been summoned," Mr. Lagman replied, his tone heavy with resignation. "They want us to appear in court."

Claire's brow furrowed in worry. "For what reason?"

"It doesn't specify," Mr. Lagman explained, already feeling the weight of uncertainty settling over him. "But given everything that's been happening, it's likely related to the corruption allegations against me."

With a sigh, Mr. Lagman stood up from his desk. "Well, I suppose we'll have to face it head-on. Let's prepare our defense."

Claire nodded, her determination matching his own. "We'll get through this together, sir. We won't let them tarnish your reputation unjustly."

'This is getting interesting; wonder how you will prove your innocence.'
