Prologue

The Gods have gathered together to discuss the fate of the Forgotten Legends who have been forgotten by Humanity. Many Gods have gathered around the table to discuss their fate. Should they be exterminated or be given a new chance at life? Many Gods were in favour of their extermination to prevent chaos and destruction. But there were also Gods who wanted to give the Forgotten Legends a second chance to make them live on in their hearts. As the discussion carried on, the gods started arguing and fighting one another, each defending their own point of view.

At this point, there was a lot of discord and disagreement between the different Gods. Some favour extermination, while others champion the cause of the Forgotten Legends' resurrection and a second chance at life. This ongoing tension has escalated into heated arguments and even brawls between the Gods. Their disagreement over the Forgotten Legends' fate has plunged the heavens into chaos. Some of the Gods even have differing viewpoints on how to handle their resurrection, which further complicates their decision-making process.

But then... a voice speaks

"How about... A battle royale? A one which existence has never seen."

The voices of the Gods suddenly fell silent. The discord and disagreement had ceased, as all the Gods were fixated on the words uttered by that mysterious voice. A battle royale between all the forgotten legends? How would such a battle royale function? Would there really be a prize? What would this even mean?

"A battle royale for the Forgotten Legends. Let this be the solution for this ongoing tension between us. Let this determine the fate of the Forgotten Legends. Let this decide their resurrection. And let this end this pointless and endless argument between us."

A battle royale for the Forgotten Legends. The Gods had decided on their resolution. A battle royale which would be the final and only solution to the ongoing tension and arguments between them. This would determine whether the Forgotten Legends are to be resurrected or eradicated once and for all. Many of the Gods were not happy with this decision, as they believed that the forgotten legends could be reformed and redeemed through dialogue and reasoning. Others, however, felt that a battle royale would be a better decision, as it would decide the fate of the forgotten legends in an effective and efficient manner. The different Gods began to converse about the battle royale, its rules and regulations, and how it would be conducted. Many of them were keen on making the battle royale as organised and efficient as possible, with specific guidelines and rules to follow.

"How many Forgotten Legends do we have?" a God asked.

"Twenty-eight," another God replied.

One of the Gods who was in favour of the battle royale interjected, "I propose that a winner-takes-all format be implemented to ensure an equal playing field and prevent collusion between participants."

"Sounds fair but what should the winner get?" one of the Gods who was sceptical of the whole idea inquired.

"How about the throne itself," the pro-battle royale God replied, "The winning Forgotten Legend will be crowned the Ruler of Heaven and the Heavens shall be theirs."

Another Pro-battle royale God spoke up, "Let the fights be random to ensure that no one can anticipate or strategise their actions. Let it be unpredictable and let it be fair."

"I agree," a third God added, "That is the only way it shall be a fair and honourable competition between the Forgotten Legends. It shall be a battle royale with no set order and no one shall know who they will be fighting next."

"And what of the participants themselves?" a God inquired, "Should they be forced to fight one another or should they be given the chance to step down and withdraw from the battle?"

"They should be given the chance to withdraw from participation," a Pro-battle royale God replied, "If any Forgotten Legend wishes to withdraw from participation, they should have the power to do so without any consequences or judgement."

"That's a sensible clause," another God concurred, "Let the Forgotten Legends have the freedom to withdraw from the battle royale; it shall be a fair and honorable competition, and no one should be forced to participate against their will."

"Very well," the God who had proposed the idea of the battle royale replied, "Let it be so. This shall be the system for the upcoming battle royale."

"What about powers and abilities?" another God inquired, "Should there be any limitations to their powers and abilities? How should we ensure that the competition is fair and equalised?"

"Let the Forgotten Legends use whatever power they possess, without any limitations," the God who had proposed the battle royale replied, "We are dealing with Legends here, let their abilities shine and let them showcase it as they see fit."

"And now," the God who proposed the battle royale proclaimed. "We must announce our decision to the Forgotten Legends. Let them know that a battle royale has been decided as the solution for their resurrection and survival in the Heavens."

"Agreed," another God added, "It is time to let them know of their fate and the terms of the battle royale."

"Let's not delay this announcement," a third God intervened, "The longer we wait, the more time will be wasted. Let's inform the Forgotten Legends immediately."

The Forgotten Legends have gathered together to hear the decision of the Gods. They have been patiently waiting for the news of their fate to reach them, and now it seems like it's time for them to know their fate.

"The time has come to inform you," a Pro-battle royale God announces, "The Gods have decided that a battle royale shall determine your fate."

"A battle royale between all the Forgotten Legends," the God continued, "Will decide whether you are granted resurrection or eradicated once and for all."

The Forgotten Legends stood silently and listened to the announcement, taking in the news. Some of them looked concerned, while others seemed confident and relieved.

"We will soon conduct this battle royale," the Pro-battle royale God continued, "The victors will be granted resurrection and will be crowned the Ruler of Heaven. This battle royale shall be a fair and honourable competition, where skill and strength will determine the victory."

"And what of those who do not wish to participate?" a Forgotten Legend inquired, "What happens to those who choose not to fight?"

"If any Forgotten Legend does not wish to participate, they shall be exterminated without any consideration or compassion," the Pro-battle royale God replied, "We shall not take no for an answer. Only those who participate and conquer the battle royale will be given the right to resurrection."

The Forgotten Legends stood silent and solemn as the Gods' announcement was concluded. The decision had been made, and the battle royale had been set. The time has now come for the forgotten legends to decide their fate; whether to fight in the battle royale and conquer their resurrection, or refuse to take part and forfeit their opportunity at survival.

"Let the Games Commence!"

"That is a risky proposition." one of the other Gods pointed out, "There will be no room for strategy, balance or fairness if you are letting them use their powers as they please."
