"Mom, are you sick?" Alexis questioned.
She has to questioned because her mom was acting quite strange.
"Stop with this, and just call Logan," Alexis's mother said. "I called him, but he didn't pick up."
"He won't pick because Yvonne gave him an earful," she muttered under her breath.
"What do you say?" her mother asked, her brow furrowing in confusion.
"Nothing; I will call him right now, and I will tell dad about it," she replied.
But before Alexis could leave, her mother turned her wheelchair toward her. "Dad will be very busy with work, so I want to eat with you and Logan," she insisted.
Alexis paused, considering her mother's words. "I don't think he will be busy; he also wanted us to eat together after you are discharged. I think this is the perfect time to eat together as a family," she suggested.
"Do you love your dad very much?" she asked.
