Javier felt a chill run down his spine. How could his fingerprints be found there? It seems like someone is setting him up, orchestrating events in the dark. He couldn't help but wonder how he could get out of this mess.
Pressing his hand to his forehead, he tried to gather his thoughts. "Okay, I got it."
"What should we do?" The man asked anxiously. "Should we call Lawyer Morgan to represent you?"
"Not yet," he replied. "I don't know the situation, but tell Isai he's out of suspension. I want him and Leo to check the woman's body secretly."
"I could do it, boss, since I'm here," the man offered.
"No, don't," he cautioned. "It would raise suspicion. Secretly let them in so they can investigate."
"Okay,"
Ending the call, Javier stared blankly into space. If he gets arrested again, it might be hard for him to get out of that place. He had to avoid that at all costs.
