Murderers

Chapter Three Hundred-Forty-Seven – Murderers

Laurel stood outside the gate with folded hands. This took longer than she expected, she only wanted to bring back as many shapes of leaves as possible because the twins demanded it.

She still didn't know what they wanted to do with all those leaves but someone must've taught them a trick. Quincy and Zeldris left to bring it and hadn't returned till now.

It left her chest, the secret on what started the war. Quincy didn't react to it as much as she wanted but Zeldris had sided her father and it made Laurel feel better.

She rested on the wall and sighed, she had nothing to do but she wouldn't complain, it's better than being locked up.

Someone cleared his throat besides her but she didn't turn to them. It's been a while since she saw him and she's sure he didn't miss her so there's no reason to talk.
