"Such a disappointment. Here I thought, they might provide a challenge. But, NO..... The bastard simply had to overblow his name and ability. What the hell was he thinking? Unmatched! Undefeated? He is not even a challenge for Rick or Dan!"
"Al, are all these so called sword masters here the same?" I met one Weaponsmaster a few weeks ago with the same attitude but he was not even at the level of our headmaster Zane! What's going on here? How are people even been evaluated as the Weaponsmasters in this kingdom?" Ben asked in disbelief.
"I was also wondering the same. How are the Weaponsmasters being evaluated in this kingdom?" Alan wonderd aloud and looked at the Princess and the guard captain.
They were staring at Ben in Utter disbelief and shock. The screaming man on the floor almost forgotten.
"I..... I don't know either." Sharon came back to her senses, informed in disbelief!
"Alright, let us take care of the so called 'Late to be Sword God'. Ben started walking towards the screaming man.
"Monster, stay away. Don't come closer....."
He began to crawl back in terror.
Alan sighed and cast a healing spell on him. The wound knitted itself and the pain dulled.
"Now, tell me who is your master who taught you the demonic arts and I might end your miserable life swiftly."
Without any hesitation, the man laying on the ground shared all the details and as promised, Ben beheaded him swiftly.
"Ha.... I need to visit this person and need to send him to meet the real god. Seriously..... "Invincible God of Death!!!?" How inflated your ego should be to proclaim yourself by that name?" Ben shook his head in disbelief.
"Alright lets go. The air here is nauseating."
When they reached the edge of the clearing, Ben looked at Alan and created a barrier with a small opening infront of him. Alan threw a blue flame inside and Ben sealed off the barrier completely.
The complete area burned to ashes within a few minutes. Princess and the others felt the scorching heat outside the barrier and were in awe of the abilities of the two young men infront of them.
Once the fire died down, Ben removed his barrier and they started to walk back, towards their horses. Both Ben and Alan started to talk again, recalling their memories. Reliving their travel.
Sharon felt curious and unknowingly started to listen to the stories shared by the brothers in awe and disbelief.
By the time they reached the Shadow Town, the night had fallen and it was late. The Inn was almost empty except for a few patrons having a mug of drinks.
Sharon, Alan and Ben took a table and the guard captain and after assigning a few to guard the Inn took tables further away from the Princess table.
"Thank you very much Alan and Sir Benjamin. You saved me from a certain horrible fate. However, I want to request you for a much bigger favour. It is a dangrous one. I can't force you. But if you are willing, I will promise you any thing you want. Except perhaps another living person. You will be given free access to the King's treasury."
Both Alan and Ben burst out laughing. "I think our princess is thinking smartly after the encounter with the "Late Sword God". Ben smiled.
"Alright, we accept! But, we want to know the complete story before we decide the way to handle the situation and minimize the destruction." Alan agreed.
