Journey towards Capital Begins...

The stable boy ran towards the two horses with a wide grin and rubbed their necks. Both horses nuzzled their heads at him and snorted softly.

"Well, well..... They really like the care you had given them and are thanking you kid." Alan smiled and Ben took out a small pouch and kept it on the boy's palm." Keep it safe and use it wisely."

Exited, the boy pulled the purse string and gasped. " S.....si.....Sir, these are gold coins! You might have mistakenly given me the wrong pouch." The boy wanted to handover the pouch back.

"Keep it. You have potential to become a beast tamer. Work hard and learn how to read and write." Alan waved his hand.

The boy looked like he was given the best news he wanted to here for his whole life. He bowed deeply to Alan. His eyes watery.

"How can you know he can invoke his abilities? He doesn't even looks to be 15 years old and still have around 3 years to know about it." Sharon asked curiously and a bit sceptic.

"I can sense mana fluctuations around humans. And sometimes can feel if a person have it in him earlier."

"Rubbish, how can someone know about it? I don't believe it." Han, the guard captain said disappointment clearly visible on his face.

"I Thought, these two were capable and trustworthy. Alas, they turned out to be liars. Need to be carefull around them."

"Why can't I Captain? I can tell although you are capable of using mana, you are using some kind of device to obscure it. Not only you, The Princess and almost half of your men are using a kind of suppressor." Ben casually remarked.

"How....!!!! How can you know about it. It is undetectable!!!" Han was now terrified of the two' s ability.

The belt they wore were a kind of suppressant. No one, they mean no one could have detected about their abilities to use mana.

"It's alright if they don't believe me Ben. Let's go. Alan patted Ben's shoulder and then started to talk with Ben's horse rubbing its head.

Feeling embarrassed and awkward, Sharon took out a token and handed it to the boy. "Come see me when you awoke your mana and produce this token to the guards at the palace and you will be alowed into royal army as a Royal Tamer."

The boy took it with reverence and bowed deeply to the princess.

Smiling at this gesture, Alan mounted his horse without a saddle and Ben did the same once again surprising the others.

"So he also had transformed! Good, good." Alan patted the neck of Ben's horse.

They set a moderate pace and halted their journey after riding for 3 hours. They had stopped near a small water body. After having lunch and resting their horses for a couple of hours, they continued forward and rode for three more hour befor taking a small break and again started to trot forward in the evening. They were planning to ride till the nightfall before calling it a day when something happened that none of the others had expected, except for Alan and Ben. Which made their heart to stop and almost wet their pants.
