UNSPOKEN WORDS

[MUSIC RECOMMENDATION: SILENCE ~ MARSHMELLO & KHALID]

The place where Fred was buried was close to a river, under a large tree, secluded from where people lived. It was quiet and peaceful.

Raven had bought the entire area for the boy. He stood two steps away from Lily as she hugged her brother's headstone tightly.

"Fred... I'm so sorry for coming late. I never fed you with your favorite chicken. If only I had come back home that day. I'm sorry," Lily sobbed, using her hand to clean the headstone. It was a reminder to Lily that her brother had truly left the world, and she was now all alone with no family.

Lily's thought was cut short when she felt a warm jacket being draped over her shoulder. She turned to meet the coppery brown eyes of Raven.

"You're never alone," Raven muttered, holding the girl's shoulder. He knew what it felt like to be all alone; it was scary, and he didn't want the girl to feel the same void he had grown up with.
