Lily's eyes moved around in the crowd; she was frightened when the arena turned dark, with the light coming only from the center.

Lily didn't know how to explain it, but the place looked eerie, like it had a past horrific memory. She chewed on her lips, trying to calm her nerves, but it wasn't easy. At intervals, she would turn to look at Raven.

Minutes passed, and the music in the background intensified, the light in the arena glowed red, and a banner was raised for everyone to see. Boldly on the banner was Raven's name, written in italics, and beside it was a Latin word.

"Mor Certa Hora Incerta..." Lily muttered the words, wondering what it meant and why her master's name was on a banner flying high in the sky.

The old bat, who didn't sit far away from the place, grinned when the banner was raised.
