Raven smiled as he entered his workroom, loving the look on the girl's face and her reaction every time he teased her. It was pure and original; she was just a simpleton, a very naive girl who thinks people would change if given a chance.

The innocence should be preserved, Raven thought to himself. It was rare to see someone who still believes there is good in people. But the only person capable of keeping her safe was him.

Getting comfortable in his work seat, Raven pulled out a file containing information about Lily's former boss. He tapped his finger on his lips thoughtfully, then he got busy on his workstation.

At the dining table, Lily tried to use her hand to straighten her thick locks. She had washed her face earlier, but she didn't bother to check her hair, and now she got teased for it.

"Are you okay?" The robot whirred over to where Lily was sitting.
