Lily shook her head. "It's not a mere anklet. My master gave it to me. I can't lose it," she said with a strong voice, not happy that her master's gift was not given the respect it deserved.

Then she raised her face and said to Maya with a calm voice, "I'm not saying you should stay back with me. You both can leave. I'll find it myself."

Maya sighed, rubbing her temples tiredly. "Seriously, just how special is this master of yours? And also, are you some kind of pet that needs a leash or something? Why do you need an anklet?" The girl asked.
