Lily moved her eyes away from the window when the car drove away from the place. She pressed her lips tightly, looking at Raven with her side eyes. She couldn't help but think if he was going to actually kill Maya and Victor if she hadn't stopped him.

But apart from that, Lily was relieved to be with Raven. All her fears and worries slowly disappeared; her trembling body became steady. She thought she was going to be dragged back to that forsaken place again.

Raven stopped the car, and when he turned to the girl and asked, "Were you scared?"
