Morning arrived with a fresh gentle breeze, as if it had rained the previous night. Lily rubbed her eyes tiredly, and like other mornings, Raven was not there when she woke.

Lily bit her lower lip; for some reason, every night she felt like someone was holding her, and it warmed her up. At first, she thought it was her Master, but when she woke up in the morning, the side of his bed was cold, like he never slept there at night.

"If he doesn't sleep here, then where does he sleep?" Lily said to herself. "The chair? In his workroom?" Then she shook her head, someone as rich as him wouldn't make himself uncomfortable because of her.

Thinking about it from a brighter side, if he didn't sleep in the room, it was still okay. She wouldn't have to be cautious about how she slept at night, Lily thought to herself as she dressed up for school.
