By the time Lily had cried her fill, the rims of her eyes had become bloodshot. She was now sniffling back her nose, trying to calm herself down.

It was just the moment she heard about Raven being hit that she realized just how much she depended on him in every situation. Knowing that he would always show up, and when Lily saw that Raven had no chance of showing up, it scared her.

"Puffin," Raven called the girl after he didn't hear her sobs anymore.

Lily raised her face to look him straight in the eyes, "How did you get hit like this? What happened?" She asked worriedly, raising her hand to touch Raven's face gently.

Raven inhaled gently when he felt the girl's small hands on his face. And the tender way she looked at him, the look he had been waiting for, it finally came, and the girl was not hiding it.

"Does it hurt?" Lily used the palm of her hand to wipeclean off the blood.
