Raven carried Lily inside when they got home. He didn't want to wake her up because the girl had cried enough; she was almost burning up.

"Welcome home, Master Raven," Lucy greeted, moving to the side before following Raven behind.

Inside the room, Raven placed Lily on the bed and gently touched her face before moving the hair away from her face.

"Master, is Lily okay?" Lucy asked, watching from the side.

Raven sighed. "I hope so," he replied, looking at her with his eyes filled with emotion. All the girl needed was to know that she had him; he was going to be the only family she would ever need.

"Should I make something light for her to eat in case she wakes up?" Lucy asked.

Raven nodded, and when the robot turned to leave, he asked, "What do normal families do together?" He turned to look at Lily.
