Lily gulped on hearing this side of the story about Raven. She had guessed before that he must have had a rough life, but this was just too much. He wasn't able to feel emotions, and that was why he killed without batting an eye.

"Tested..on you?" Lily stuttered, now looking at him with worry.

Raven nodded, "A privilege I guess." He smiled.

"But not to worry you little head love, recently all of that changed, and that was when I met you," Raven said, pushing Lily to the side for her head to rest on the couch pillow with her leg on the floor. He leaned forward.

Lily gulped nervously, her eyes moving here and there. The small pecks he had gently planted on the different parts of her face caused her leg to tremble. His words about changing after he met her didn't go unheard by Lily, but every time she tried to ask him, he brought his face closer.
