Raven walked Lily to the car after the reporters were moved to the side. He drove her straight home, and upon arriving, Old Bat was already in front of the house with Maya and Victor.

They rushed to their car, and Old Bat was the first to speak. "Raven, I saw the news," she paused to look at Lily. "I think they went too far by involving normal people. What are you going to do?" Ms. Havilah asked, knowing that this was the foundation making their fight dirty, and they would go to any length just to drag Raven down until he let go of Lily and walked right back into his old life.

Maya and Victor walked to stand beside Lily, who looked distressed and worried.

"I'm going to do exactly what they're doing. Can you stay with Lily for tonight?" Raven said, squeezing Lily's hand. He didn't want to leave her alone, but it was safer in the house.
