The rhythmic hum of Lily's breath filled the room, a soothing melody against the quiet night. Suddenly, Raven's phone pierced the silence with a sharp trill. He reached for it with practiced ease, silencing it before it could stir Lily.

"Raven, I've been able to get into the foundation's mainframe," Shadow said on the other end.

So fast... Raven thought to himself. Gently, he repositioned a stray pillow under Lily's head, moving his hand away from her. Slipping out of bed, Raven stepped out of the room.

"How's that even possible?" Raven said, going inside his workroom.
