"This Augustine we are dealing with, do you think going to face him is rational?" The woman asked, looking worried. The situation they were in was just like every other one where Lily gets abducted, but this time the man holding Lily was a stronger predator.

Raven turned to look at Old Bat, "She's waiting for me, Lily is waiting for me. There's no being rational in this." He said, bringing out his fully loaded gun.

"Raven, Old Bat is right. This might just be a trap. We should go home and plan before coming back," Shadow suggested, but before they could even complete their words, Raven was out of the car.

Shadow took out his own gun and turned to Maya. "Stay here with Old Bat; can you drive?" He asked.

Maya, who was still shocked about the whole thing, nodded. "I can try," she muttered.
