Lily stepped away from the elevator and made her way to the meeting hall. She tried not to make her steps look awkward as she could feel people's eyes on her.

"Isn't that the heiress of the Cashmere family?" Lily could hear people voice their thoughts as she passed, but none of them came even close to her.

"I heard news that she's something you call a disturbed child. I read an article where she tried to kill herself," another one whispered, but it was not hushed, as Lily could hear it clearly.

"Do you think something is wrong with her? I feel something is wrong with the way she's walking," they continued to pour out their venomous words.
