DARKNESS

[Music Recommendation: Castle of Glass (Cello and Piano) ~ GnuS Cello]

Maya was dragged inside a car with her hands tied firmly with a rope and her eyes blindfolded. She felt the sharp pain again below her tummy, and this time it was worse than the first.

"Where are you taking me to?" she asked, turning her head to the side when she heard a movement.

Dylan started the car, playing very loud music to block Maya's hearing.

It was like total darkness had swallowed Maya up, and her anxiety grew. She felt like she was locked in a small box where she couldn't move her hands or feet. She wasn't seeing, hearing, or even feeling anything. But then, as the saying goes, when one sense is down, others become very alert. Maya's nose caught the smell of something peculiar; it was different from the stale smell where she was locked before. She inhaled deeply; it was a male cologne.

"Augustine asked that we bring her now," Dylan said, starting the ignition.
