After the funeral, everyone turned to leave except Raven, who stood there looking at the headstone of Shadow.

Lily stood beside him. "I'll leave with the others. You can always call me," she said, sensing that he still needed time alone to mourn and respect his friend. Deep down, Lily knew that Raven would be blaming himself; everyone was literally blaming themselves at this point.

Raven turned. "I'll call you," he said, leaning forward to plant a small kiss on Lily's forehead.

Lily nodded before leaving, walking toward the car that was waiting.

Raven took out a cigarette from the box and lit it. Taking a deep drag, he puffed the smoke. His eyes were empty as he looked at the headstone. Raven had so many thoughts running through his mind.
