A few days passed quickly after Shadow's funeral, and it was finally the day set aside for Maya to name her child.

It was a small party with just family members. Lily and Maya prepared food while Old Bat stayed inside the room with the baby. It had been that way since the baby arrived; she couldn't get enough of him.

"Doo...doo..." Old Bat said, carrying the baby up. When he giggled, she would say the baby language again.

A knock stopped the fun Old Bat was having with her little grandson. She looked at the door, "Who?"

Mrs. Casgrove peeped inside the room, "Am I interrupting something?"

Old Bat smiled, the corners of her eyes crinkling. "No, come inside, please. What about Luca?"

"He is outside," Mrs. Casgrove replied, "He is growing so fast and healthy," the older woman said, looking at the baby from a corner.
