The partial Judgment

Chapter 37

The Partial Judgment.

Lina's eyes blazed with fury as she confronted me, ready for a clash. Before tempers could flare, Gerald strode in, his presence commanding a heavy silence. With a firm voice, he quelled the tension, "Enough!" He said,  his voice roaring.

His gaze swept across the room, holding each of us in a stern grip. "We are a family, not enemies. Resolve this with words, not claws." He said, still darting his eyes from one person to another. His anger was very much visible on his face as his veins swelled, his face reddened as he clenched his fist in annoyance.

As he stared at me, his eyes blazing fire, his face fuming with rage. I couldn't maintain my composure under his wild gaze. My legs shivered.

Lina's calculated steps drew her near Gerald as she feigned tears trickling down her cheeks.

"Amelia insulted me, made a mockery of my existence," her voice quivered with fabricated grief.
