Amelia's Absence
Jennifer's eyes blazed with a fierce determination, as she turned to face me, her expression steely, unrelenting, as she fixed me with her stare, the words spilling from her like a river of accusation.
"You hurt her," she hissed, her voice low, fierce, as her hands clenched into fists, her entire body trembling with rage, as she continued,
"You broke her heart. And now you dare to claim that you love her? How can you be so sure, when you have caused her so much pain?"
My face twisted, a mask of anguish, as I bowed my head, my voice a whisper, a supplication, as I acknowledged my mistakes, my misdeeds, the pain I had caused Amelia.
"I know I've hurt her," I whispered, my voice filled with sorrow as I lifted my gaze to meet Jennifer's, my eyes haunted, my expression pleading, as I continued,
"But I love her, Jennifer. I love her with every fiber of my being. I will do anything to win her back. Please, tell me where she is.
