Chapter 78
Another Woman
Amelia's POV
I felt the sting of betrayal, like a dagger in the heart, as I stood there, my eyes wide, my breath caught in my throat as I watched Gerald with Lina, their lips locked in a passionate embrace, their bodies entwined in a seductive dance.
The world seemed to slow, the air around me thick with the poison of jealousy, of hatred, as I watched, my heart breaking, my soul-shattering, at the sight of their betrayal.
I felt the tears welling up in my eyes, the pain of betrayal tearing through me, a sharp, searing pain that seemed to burn like fire in my veins.
I turned away, my body shaking, trembling, with the effort to hold back my sobs, my tears, as I fought against the wave of emotion that threatened to drown me, to consume me in its fiery, devouring embrace.
My heart raced, my breath coming in short gasps as I struggled to hold my breath.
