The hoarse voice made me shiver, my heart skipped a bit. Who could that be?

I quickly turned, my eyes stretched towards the direction the voice came from.

My eyes widened at the sight of the figure before me. I became tense and my heart sank into my stomach.

My leg shook and couldn't move anymore. As I stared at his figure coming closer to me, with his eyes fixed on me. I couldn't think of anything else to do, my mind was out of options. I just stood in place and stared back at him.

No words came out of my lips, and my heart beat frantically in distress, threatening to break my rib cage.

But then, he was wearing a cheerful look unlike before. His lips curled upwards in a cheerful smile and his blue eyes were filled with affection.

What was he up to? What was he planning on doing?
