Auriana felt so wronged by her parents that she did not even know how to react to her father nodding his head, asking them to go on ahead and propose whatever they had planned. Knowing she could not stop them, especially after her question, she shoved all thoughts aside and just listened.

"Due to the unforeseen occurrence that, even after her eighteenth birthday, the council has decided that her highness, Princess Auriana, should take a chosen mate from any pack of her choosing in Diric and they will both be trained as successors for the throne according to our traditions," Alpha Derek stated.
