It didn't take long after Caleb's mindlink to auriana before her scent became stronger the closer she got. Lytus focused his attention and could hear the steps approaching, and he pinpointed its direction. Without waiting to see her, he walked in that direction.

Caleb and Roman had no choice but to follow him.

"Lyru," Auriana's voice rang through the air, and before he knew it, she was already in front of him with her hand around his neck.

'Right, she is faster than most of her kind,' he thought, and a smirk formed at the corners of his lips. He wrapped his hands around her, too, feeling the warmth of her body and breathing in her scent. He could immediately tell that she just had a bath.

"I've missed you," Auriana whispered, still not letting go.
