Chapter Nineteen

I've been awake for a while now, staring at the ceiling in disbelief over what happened last night. We kissed, and now Tyrone is officially my boyfriend. I can't help but feel giddy just thinking about it. I buried my face in the pillow and let out a squeal of excitement.

Shit! It's true! Tyrone is really my boyfriend now. Wow, it feels like just yesterday. I glanced at the window, noticing someone outside who seemed to be disturbing my moment of reflection. My heart skipped a beat, realizing I hadn't washed up yet. What if he decides to break up with me when he sees me like this? I mean, Tyrone is out there, smiling at me. I quickly called him on my phone, avoiding facing him because, right now, I felt like I could be mistaken for a witch with how my hair is so messy right now.

"Tyrone."

[I wish you'd let me in.]

Even without seeing him, I knew he had a mischievous grin on his face. His playful demeanor always brought a warmth to my heart.
