Chapter Fifty-Three

You know that feeling when you're so incredibly happy that it feels like everything is a dream? It's as though none of this could be real. You can't help but worry that it might not be true, but after pinching and slapping myself a couple of times, I realized that I hadn't woken up. All of this is real – the happiness, the love, and the warmth I feel towards Tyrone. This is all true, and it's not an illusion.

"Did you prepare everything?" I asked him.

"Yup, it's in the car," he replied. We were about to head to town to buy groceries. Life here is simple, but it feels perfect. It feels right, especially with Tyrone by my side.

As we drove to town, the scenery outside the window seemed to mirror the emotions inside me – clear skies, beautiful landscapes, and a sense of calm. Holding his hand, I couldn't help but feel blessed that he's here with me.
