"Hey, how about tomorrow? Let's hit the bar," Aries suggested as we made our way home. The clock struck six in the evening, and with the promise of a day off tomorrow, this bold guy had the audacity to extend the invitation.

"Alright," I replied, nodding in agreement. Just then, my phone chimed.

From: Joseph my loves

Wait for me in the parking lot.

That was the message. A frown etched across my face.

"Aries, you go ahead. I forgot something inside," I concocted an excuse.

"I'll wait," he assured me. I flashed him a teasing smile.

"Look at you, playing the good Samaritan," I teased, knowing full well he disliked such jabs.

"Whatever. I'm off. But remember, tomorrow? I'll jab you in the eye if you bail," he issued a playful threat.

"Got it, boss," I chuckled. "See you later!"
