30. Innocent Crush

Mother of the traitor who worked with the village to annihilate his own clan, and the wife of the patriarch who sacrificed the clan to safeguard peace, in the end, he wanted the clan to die with him. 

But in the end, all of this due to Yuu Uchiha's intervention was prevented as saved the Uchiha clan and Fugaku who sacrificed the clan did not have the guts to face them. 

She had to watch her husband being killed by her son and her son who she gave raised his blade against her. She would have died if not for Yuu-kun. 

She felt guilty whenever she thought about Yuu, Yuu-kun had done so much for her and in the end she was shameless enough to once more beg for help from him. 

What made Mikoto even more ashamed was that she knew Yuu had feelings for her and she even thought in her mind to maybe take advantage of Yuu's feelings and secure Sasuke's future. 

Since they were in a new place and the members of the Uchiha clan had a lukewarm attitude towards them, she could understand that as her Son and Husband had betrayed them and if it wasn't for the existence of Yuu then everyone would have been dead. 

Standing in front of Yuu's house Mikoto's eyes were filled with complicated emotions to think that the boy who she saw as just a little brother would become someone so great. 

She just thought it was a joke when he said that he would steal her from her husband. But as he grew older she understood he seemed to have a crush on her ( He likes Milfs, all kinds ) , Mikoto as a gentle woman felt troubled by this as she didn't want to hurt Yuu's feelings. 

She felt that his feelings for her were not exactly accurate and were more or less due to his age. It was normal for young boys to have crushes on older women who they admire. 

She only hoped his feelings for her would pass and he would meet somebody who was of the same age, unlike the old woman she was. 

But she understood how much he liked her when he was willing to save her and even made concessions for her when the person who tried to kill his family was her son. 

How could she not know that he was taking a risk by bringing her along, Mikoto knows that hate is an irrational emotion and many Uchiha clansmen blamed her family for their plight.

They blamed Itachi for Shisui's death, and hiding the fact that he was killed by Danzo and telling everyone that it was a suicide. 

They wondered how many of their brethren were killed by that evil Danzo and Itachi cooperated with someone like him. 

Even Mikoto was surprised and sad when she found out that her son had cooperated with this kind of person.

She couldn't understand Itachi anymore and she wondered if he could still be the son that she had raised.

Mikoto felt hurt when she imagined what would have happened to her family if not for the presence of Yuu, she couldn't believe that Itachi could be so ruthless to kill his family for the village. 

Because at the end of the day even if they shinobi were loyal to the village it was because they had a sense of belonging to the village due to the presence of their family and friends. 

They fight to safeguard the lives of the people they care about , but for Itachi, she doesn't know anymore as she felt her son was like a stranger. Especially when she remembered those indifferent eyes like he was a puppet.

She could feel no emotions from them it was like he was gazing at a stranger not the woman who gave birth to him. 

Mikoto felt despair and she was sure she was going to die , her mind couldn't help but go to her youngest son and she wanted to plead to Itachi to at least spare his brother.

But she suddenly felt somebody else's presence in the room and both her and her husband gazed at the person who appeared there. Mikoto was surprised that it was Yuu and she wanted to tell him to run, but she was stunned when he put his finger to his lips in a shushing motion. 

Mikoto was bewildered when she watched Itachi slash in the empty air and stand there for a few moments as he gazed at the empty space and left leaving her Husband and her alive. 

She noticed that her husband unlike her had a shameful expression on his face, and without her saying anything he bit his tongue and killed himself before she could even process anything. 

Mikoto was too stunned to react and after hearing the sigh from Yuu she understood everything, it seems her husband most likely knew about Itachi's plan and wanted to die at his hands but Yuu saved them. 

Fugaku was too ashamed to face his clan members thus he committed suicide, for Shinobi like them death wasn't the scariest thing especially Uchiha like them they valued their pride and honour.

She felt hurt and when Yuu said some things she felt like he was avoiding something important from his hesitant expression but that only furthered her suspicion and she wished to know what he knew.....
