Emotions are like a drug to us.

The more we experience them, the more we become addicted.

The hardest part is not letting them consume us.

But it's already too late for me.

I've already been swallowed whole.

I had no knowledge of the game. 

I was meant to have died. 

And yet, I found myself in this situation. 

A game I had never played before. A character I was unfamiliar with, and... A world that seemed to want to swallow me whole with every move I made. 

What the hell is going on?

Advent of the Three Calamities

Everyone's attention was focused on Aoife who tried her best to keep her composure.

Feeling the pressure that was bearing down on her from the post leaders, she withstood it all and tried to act as calmly as possible.

"Don't move. Everyone stay here. That's an order."

Frowning, one of the post leaders looked at her.

Andrew Colnell of the Raging Bulls Guild. With his tall stature and burly body, he was quite intimidating to look at.

"The potential culprit has escaped, and you're telling us to stay still? What sort of situation is this? Could it be that the two of you are collud—"

Aoife squinted her eyes and he stopped speaking.

"....The Megrail family gains nothing by doing this to you."

Her gaze quietly swept the room.
