Emotions are like a drug to us.

The more we experience them, the more we become addicted.

The hardest part is not letting them consume us.

But it's already too late for me.

I've already been swallowed whole.

I had no knowledge of the game. 

I was meant to have died. 

And yet, I found myself in this situation. 

A game I had never played before. A character I was unfamiliar with, and... A world that seemed to want to swallow me whole with every move I made. 

What the hell is going on?

Advent of the Three Calamities

Every step felt heavy as I moved down the Academy market aisle.

Rows upon rows of goods were presented before my very eyes as I just randomly picked up whatever bar I could find.

At the front, I could feel the staff's sharp gaze on me.

I knew that I was close to reaching the daily limit of bars that I could purchase.

But it couldn't be helped, this was for Delilah.

Recalling what had happened a few moments ago, I could only sigh.

Pressing the third leaf, nothing happened.

Delilah looked a bit disappointed by that, saying something along the lines of, 'I didn't feel anything. Did you try something?'

The third ability was still new to me.

At least, I now knew that it couldn't be activated so easily.

"There's fifteen minutes left, I better hurry."

Checking my watch, I hurried to the counter.
