Emotions are like a drug to us.

The more we experience them, the more we become addicted.

The hardest part is not letting them consume us.

But it's already too late for me.

I've already been swallowed whole.

I had no knowledge of the game. 

I was meant to have died. 

And yet, I found myself in this situation. 

A game I had never played before. A character I was unfamiliar with, and... A world that seemed to want to swallow me whole with every move I made. 

What the hell is going on?

Advent of the Three Calamities

As soon as I defeated the monster, the world shifted, and before I knew it, I found myself back in the white void. Standing not far from me was the old man.

Though he tried to act calm, his wiggling smile betrayed his true thoughts.

Look at him turning his head away from me.

"Let me guess, you weren't expecting me to be this fast, right?"

His silence was all I needed to know.

I yet again, almost burst out laughing. As much of a lunatic as this guy was, he was also quite easy to read. He was too shy to give compliments."

"I don't like the expression you're currently making."

I sat down on the ground and stretched my arms.

"I'm not going to fall for it like last time. I'm not making any expression. You're just overthinking. There's only one thought in my mind at the moment."
