"H-hoo."
My mind felt sluggish.
Every part of me felt sluggish.
Holding onto the head of the woman who was supposed to be my mother and continuously injecting emotions into her was no easy task. I had to stay focused, continuously visualizing scenes and images that brought rise to the emotion within me.
Such a process was extremely draining.
However, the result was an overwhelming wave of emotions that drained the mental capacity of anyone who was within my grasp.
Snap, snap—!
My ears twitched as I heard a constant snapping sound.
What followed after the sound was the subtle yet piercing screeches coming from the far distance.
'It's working.'
The monster's screams and shouts were all I needed to hear to tell that what I was doing was working. I just needed to keep holding on for a little bit longer. As long as I could do that, I'd be able to turn the situation around.
"Kh...!"
