Emotions are like a drug to us.

The more we experience them, the more we become addicted.

The hardest part is not letting them consume us.

But it's already too late for me.

I've already been swallowed whole.

I had no knowledge of the game. 

I was meant to have died. 

And yet, I found myself in this situation. 

A game I had never played before. A character I was unfamiliar with, and... A world that seemed to want to swallow me whole with every move I made. 

What the hell is going on?

Advent of the Three Calamities

I wanted to mouth those words, but I found myself unable to look away from those deep black eyes of hers. I could only silently purse my lips before explaining myself.

"She… has something that I need."

Ah, her gaze feels piercing. My eye twitched and I found myself hurriedly speaking again.

"The entity within me. It's still not clear. Kiera has a certain item that can help me get rid of it."

I was confused. How exactly did I have to not be worried? I knew that the seal the previous Cleric had placed on me was strong, but I felt it weaken the moment my progression increased once again.

It was like a ticking time bomb, ready to explode at any second.
