Emotions are like a drug to us.

The more we experience them, the more we become addicted.

The hardest part is not letting them consume us.

But it's already too late for me.

I've already been swallowed whole.

I was meant to have died. 

And yet, I found myself in this situation. 

A game I had never played before. A character I was unfamiliar with, and... A world that seemed to want to swallow me whole with every move I made. 

What the hell is going on?

Advent of the Three Calamities

On the outskirts of the Mylne estate was a dense forest.

The forest was narrow, with a wide road cutting through its center, leading to one of the major cities under Mylne's jurisdiction.

Knowing this, Rose headed in the opposite direction.

'This is really uncomfortable.'

Hanging over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes, I watched as several branches brushed past my face, forcing me to squint my eyes momentarily.

For whatever reason, I got kidnapped alongside Kiera.

Most likely, she noticed something strange and made a dip for it. I didn't know what prompted her to run like that, but I wasn't in a situation to think too much.

Kiera wasn't having a good time either.

"Shut up, or I'll seal your mouth."
