"I'll stop you here, I do not give a f*ck about the betterment of those who aren't my citizens so If you want to cooperate join the Imperium, transfer youre company to the soon-to-be Nova Roma Island, and pour all of youre resources Into helping us build a space lift and Thraes orbital habitat."
I said with an emotionless voice fully knowing that every Thraen who was watching the broadcast could hear me and that was precisely what I wanted them to see.
"While at it you can bring over anyone else who Is Interested In this project of mine"
I added my gaze fixed on Noles Ksum's face who seemed to be In a dilemma judging from his facial expression.
Finally, the man seemed to come to a decision.
"Understood, Imperator, I am willing to cooperate and contribute all our resources to your projects."
I leaned back, my piercing gaze still fixed on Nole.
"And what assurances do I have that you wont betray me In the future?"
Nole Ksum gulped, clearly feeling the weight of the moment.
"Imperator, I pledge on behalf of X S*ace that we will commit ourselves entirely to the projects on Nova Roma Island. We will sign any agreements, make any oaths, and undergo any monitoring you require to ensure our full cooperation."
I nodded, satisfied with his response.
"Good. You have one week to pack youre s*it and be ready to transfer It to Nova Roma I'll be assigning a security detail, Wolf assign a squad of cosmic marines to accompany Imperiale civis Ksum back to Thrae"
I ordered.
"Yes Imperator"
Wolf acknowledged my order as he took out his holographic phone and Issued the order on the spot.
"Frank make sure to coordinate with Imperiald civis Ksum In the future"
I said while looking at Frank who Immediately went to Nole and wrapped his large muscular arm around his shoulder almost giving Nole a heart attack.
"Hehehe Imperiale civis Ksum don't worry I and Jameson will make a proper Terran out of you In no time..."
Frank said as he started mumbling about an extra heart, a lung, fusing Nole's ribcage Into a solid plate and enriching his bones with nanocomposite alloy among dozens of other cybernetic and biological augmentations.
Because that was the current plan, In my mind I was going to turn every Terran citizen Into a machine of war no questions asked.
Of course, those who wouldn't join the Terranum Militarid would lack certain key biological and cybernetic augmentations but they would receive all the standard ones.
The only challenge so far was what kind of augmentations would Thraen females receive, Frank and Jameson had already come up with a few proposals but I haven't decided which one to choose.
Though the most likely one was going to be the one that overall Increased the female's physical and mental capabilities to the max without turning them Into gorillas on steroids with the main point being of Increasing female s*x appeal and fertility.
I mused In my mind.
"Frank let the poor man go already"
I barked upon seeing that Frank was ready to drag Ksum to his lab.
"Yes Imperator"
Frank said with a reluctant voice as he let go of Ksum allowing him and his secretary to flee the cafeteria.
With that, Nole and Liza were dismissed from the meeting, leaving only Morgana Schmit and her cameraman in the room.
"Follow me"
I said after lingering my gaze devoid of any warmth on Morgana who felt goosebumps appear on her skin from my gaze.
As I stood up Wolf put on my coat for me as I put on my gloves and hat, we beelined straight towards my quarters with Wolf acting as a security detail while all the others left to attend to their duties.
Seeing me approach the two fully geared up and armed cosmic marines guarding my door saluted me on the spot.
"Ave Dracula!"
"At ease, that will be all Wolf"
I said as I returned the salute, hearing this Wolf nodded as he departed to attend to his duties.
While the doors automatically opened up as I did I entered my room with Morgana and her cameraman following behind.
The room was dimly lit, and the soft hum of futuristic machinery filled the air as I entered.
My quarters aboard the battleship were a blend of modernity and military efficiency.
A holographic table in the center displayed data and communications, while the walls were adorned with trophies that I had gathered from my foes In the galactic Overlord.
I gestured for Morgana to make herself comfortable as I walked further into the room as I started removing my outerwear.
Morgana took a seat in one of the chairs, her eyes scanning the high-tech surroundings.
She had conducted interviews in various settings, but this was unlike anything she had experienced before.
I hung my service coat and service jacket on a hook near the entrance, revealing my attire a black short-sleeved shirt that clung tightly to my tattooed and scarred arms.
The scars, like twisted barbed wire, told stories of battles and experiences in a world beyond Thrae.
My wore down dogtags, a blend of traditional and futuristic design, hung from my neck.
As I moved closer to the holographic table, I poured myself a cup of coffee from a dispenser.
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the room, adding a touch of warmth to the otherwise austere atmosphere.
Taking a sip of the steaming liquid, I seated myself across from Morgana, my gaze meeting hers.
The scars on my arms were a testament to the battles I had fought, the sacrifices made, and the responsibilities I carried as Imperator.
Morgana, though accustomed to interviewing influential figures, couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and apprehension in the presence of the formidable leader.
"Lets start"
I said lazily.
"Huh? Start what?"
The absentminded Morgana mesmerized by my visage asked.
"The Interview"
I reminded.
Hearing this Morgana snapped out of her daze, she took a moment to compose herself before she began.
"Imperator Dracula Von Death, first and foremost, thank you for granting me this interview. It's an honor to have this opportunity,"
Morgana said, her voice carrying a mix of excitement and nervousness.
I nodded in acknowledgment, sipping my coffee as I leaned back in my chair.
"The pleasure is mine, Miss Schmit. Let's get to it."
Morgana cleared her throat, her cameraman capturing every moment.
"Imperator, you have previously mentioned that you come from the Andromeda galaxy but I believe many have the same question on their minds, but you've never specified why can you shed light on this mystery?"
I regarded her for a moment before responding as I came up with a backstory on the spot.
"We fled"
I said two words that caused Morganas and the cameraman's mouths to open wide In surprise because they couldn't fathom what could make an advanced empire such as ours flee our home galaxy.
"You.. you fled?"
Morgana repeated my words not believing her ears.
"Yes as much as It shames me to admit It yes we fled, despite our armadas and our legions encompassing the entire Andromeda galaxy, we could only flee In the end after countless years of grueling war with the extragalactic races that Invaded our galaxy"
Morgana was taken aback by my revelation. Her eyes widened as she processed the astonishing information I had just shared.
It was a story that defied conventional wisdom—a powerful empire forced into flight despite its overwhelming might.
"Imperator, could you please further elaborate on the circumstances that led to the Terranum Imperium's flight from the Andromeda galaxy?"
Morgana inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity and disbelief.
